FLORA Photography Exhibition

Flora is a collection of 20 black and white prints from my darkroom, exploring the form and structure of Australian native plants.

It is an exhibition of images collected over 12 months, during which time I collected seed pods and native flora when bush walking with my family in Tasmania, bringing these back to the studio to photograph on film.

Flora is also journey of rediscovery – exploring the alchemy of the darkroom that first drew me into photography 25 years ago. All images are hand printed on Ilford Photographic Paper, mounted with archival acid free double matt board and framed in raw wood.
